Welcome to The Crossing where we are creating an atmosphere for radical followers and laid down lovers of Jesus Christ. We operate on the basis of relationships not rules, and are led by love not fear. The church is a body and we are body parts. We are not a business nor a government agency. We are a family led by God.

"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." Ephesians 2:19-22

Our purpose is to move and strengthen the body of Christ. To promote unity and downplay differences while putting into practice the building of ragamuffins into warriors! We are loving Wallowa County by planting Kingdom seeds and developing real and deep relationships. By nurturing the emerging church we are allowing the power of God to flow.

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called, on Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4:2-6

We believe that there is only one true God who has revealed Himself in three persons: the Father, the Son, (Jesus Christ) , and the Holy Spirit. He is the creator, sustainer, and controller of all things and can be known personally through Jesus Christ, His Son.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless, and perfect. We believe that He not only taught the truth and demonstrated the power of God in miracles, but also died on a cross as a payment for man’s sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sent the Holy Spirit to guide the Church.

We understand that any person can become a new person in Jesus Christ with the forgiveness of sins, the removal of guilt, and the inward change of the heart, by believing in Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for all Christians. We hold that the Scriptures, along with the power of the Spirit, are God’s main means of guiding and strengthening the believer.
